![]() Audio editing and manipulation including pitch correction, pitch shifting, harmonization, time-stretching, beat-detection & slicing, audio warping and standard audio manipulation (cut/paste etc). ![]() The hardware I'm using: iMac Dual Core i3 540 (3.06GHz) 21.5-Inch (Mid-2010), Mobility Radeon HD 4670 GPU, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB HDD.Here is my operating system and version: Linux Mint 21.1, kernel 5.15.0-56-generic.I attempted to do it by using the live bootable USB and booting into compatibility mode, changing the GRUB file and recompiling (this is the issue I have, recompiling the GRUB file), and thus booting with nomodeset. The only thing is I don't really know how to do that, especially since I can't view anything after the Mac chime. I looked online and the only solution I could find would be to bypass the GPU altogether via changing a GRUB setting to nomodeset. I'm assuming it's the GPU driver that's the issue. I get the Mac chime when booting up, along with a white screen, and then a black screen. I went ahead and decided to install Linux Mint 21.1. Everything works well in compatibility mode: WiFi internet, audio, video, YouTube. I was able to successfully boot this iMac using Linux Mint 21.1 live bootable USB in compatibility mode. Hi everyone! I hope you kind and knowledgeable folks can help me.
